Code of Ethics
DST Code of Ethics
I want to discuss the DST Code of Ethics and expectations from both the athletes and the parents. This coaching facility will help your son/daughter not only become a better athlete but also a better person. The relationships between coaches, athletes and parents we have built will last a lifetime. Our coaching facility is built behind trust, integrity and morals that we want to carry over into our athletes. Becoming a member of Daman’s Strength Training is a commitment from both the athletes and the parents. We need 100% support from parents to make sure that our athletes do not skip workouts, follow a proper diet and do not make excuses. This is not a membership. This is an investment for long term athletic ability!
The coaching at Daman’s Strength Training will help your athlete reach new levels of athletic ability. We expect the athletes to be prepared to train and ready to be pushed. Not every athlete is accepted into our program. The athletes accepted are expected to follow the gym expectations and come to each workout on time.
This is where the parent relationship is most important. We need supportive parents that give the athletes the push at home that we are giving to the athletes in the gym.
Cancelling on the day of a workout will result in the loss of that workout session. I am an easy-going coach but when parents and athletes cancel this can become a major issue trying to reschedule workouts. Becoming the best athlete you can be is a commitment of time and effort. Daman’s Strength Training is a four-month commitment. When athletes and parents do not fulfill the four-month commitment that athlete will be put on a waiting list if they decide to rejoin our coaching facility.
We only accept supportive parents and competitive athletes.
Thank You,
Rick Daman
